December 2006 - Wolf Creek Update
Storm Drops 40 inches of Snow on Wolf Creek
Over 7 days in December, the Wolf Creek Ski Area received 40 inches of snow and 30 inches just in the past 3 days. As expected, the mountain is 100% open with over 1,600 acres of skiable terrain.
Village at Wolf Creek
Plans for the new Village at Wolf Creek are still on hold while the matter is under review in a Colorado court. Opponents are worried the new development will put a strain on the local water supply and feel officials were too quick to approve the plans. A ruling is expected in May.
