After reading your many responses to my email survey, I discovered that a majority of readers would like to see more photos on the website. Motorcar Ride on the Rio Grande Railway
The Rio Grande Railway is just another reason to visit the South Fork area during the summer months. Recently, The North American Rail Car Operators took the trip from South Fork to Creede, riding in old motorcars that were previously used to transport rail workers. The motorcars have since been refurbished as collectors’ items and are a popular hobby for many rail enthusiasts. Those who rode the Rio Grande Railway described it as one of the most beautiful rides in the country.
